Since my last post on this blog, my life has changed dramatically. I was invigorated by the end of my Cybersecurity bootcamp I took part in, and then quickly uncertain of my future.

It was the beginning of October when I successfully completed the ThriveDX Bootcamp. I completed all the challenges as well as getting a 98% overall in the program. Being so proud of my accomplishment, I went right into applying for jobs. I applied, I applied, and applied even more. You get where this is going. No responses, just crickets from all the jobs I applied to.

The realization of what I was up against finally started to hit me. I was stuck unless I made a drastic move. Money was still coming in from workers compensation, but it wasn't going to last. What can I do? Where can I go? What was next for me in my life? These are questions everyone asks themselves at some point in their life. The question I asked myself at the time was, "What do I need to do to get myself from this point to where I want to be?"

After deliberation, I decided my best recourse for pursuing IT/Cybersecurity was going to be through education. The first step, apply for admission to junior college and start all over again.
